Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival Together: VU 2026 Mooncake Gambling & Team Dinner

On the evening of August 24, 2026, Xiamen Weiyou Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. held its 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival celebration featuring the traditional Xiamen Mooncake Gambling activity and a team dinner.

Employees gathered together to enjoy an evening filled with laughter, traditional culture, delicious food, and festive celebrations. The event provided an opportunity for the VU team to take a break from their daily work, strengthen connections, and celebrate the spirit of reunion

Experiencing the Traditional Xiamen Mooncake Gambling Culture

Mooncake Gambling, known locally as Bo Bing, is a traditional Mid-Autumn Festival custom originating in Xiamen and widely practiced in southern Fujian. It is also recognized as a representative national-level intangible cultural heritage project in China. During the festival, participants take turns throwing six dice to compete for different prize ranks, including Zhuangyuan, Bangyan, Tanhua, Jinshi, Juren, and Xiucai.

At the VU celebration, employees gathered around the Bo Bing tables and took turns throwing the dice. Every throw brought anticipation, while unexpected results created plenty of cheers and laughter.

The company prepared a variety of practical prizes, including home appliances, kitchenware, household products, and daily necessities. The exciting prizes and lively atmosphere added even more fun to the traditional celebration.

Sharing Laughter, Food and Team Spirit

Following the Bo Bing activity, VU employees enjoyed a team dinner together.

Around the dinner table, colleagues shared delicious food, exchanged stories, and enjoyed a relaxed evening together. Beyond the celebration itself, the dinner created a valuable opportunity for employees from different teams to communicate and strengthen their connections.

For a company based in Xiamen, celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival through Bo Bing is also a way to embrace and share the unique local culture of southern Fujian.
