The VU-IPC04 uses intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) technology. Air is delivered into the chambers of a compatible sleeve in a controlled sequence, followed by pressure release. This repeated inflation-and-deflation cycle applies external compression to the covered body area.

Sequential pneumatic compression can support fluid movement and lymphatic drainage as part of an appropriate care program.

The six-chamber design provides segmented compression across the covered area. Using compatible sleeves separately or in an approved combination gives distributors flexibility when developing configurations for different customer requirements.
